Feather stitches are my favorite stitches and *straight sided is an interesting variation. Where most feather stitches are rather organic in appearance, with a bit of twisting and turning, straight sided feather stitch is very geometric.
*NOTE: I mistakenly stitched this as Straight Sided Featherstitch, but it is actually Closed Feather Stitch! I have corrected the title for this post, but the video remains uncorrected.
Just a short seam, but I'm happy with how it turned out!
It's a little tricky to figure out at first, but the results are lovely. I like this one done in a heavy thread so it really stands out, but didn't have the correct color to do so on this project.
I softened it with a fan of lazy daisies and pistil stitches on either side.
