There are so many ways to do combination stitches, and I really love how this one turned out! Rather than stitching one row of Cretan and another row of Chevron, I combined them into one. It makes a fun and unique seam!
I started off stitching chevron on the base, but then as I moved to the second portion of the stitch, I changed to cretan! To provide more interest, I staggered the heights of each stitch and added lazy daisies and French knots.
After looking at it for a while, I've decided it almost looks like a line of dancing flowers!
