Tinsel
The legend of tinsel is that a poor family had a tree that they wanted to decorate for Christmas but they were so poor they weren't able to buy decorations for it. In the night, spiders spun webs that covered the tree. To reward the family's faith, Jesus turned the webs into strands of silver.
He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury; and he saw a poor widow put in two copper coins. And he said, "Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them; for they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out her poverty put in all the living that she had.
Luke 21:2-4
