Meditations for Christmas ~ December 9, 2012

Christmas Tradition
Today, a celebration of thankfulness and joy for our new home and anticipation of Christmas!  The table filled with good things to eat, especially the Pigs-in-the-blankets ~ a family Christmas tradition in the form of a recipe passed down from my Grandmother!

Christmas Cookes
Lovely sugar cookies made by my daughter!

Ready for Housewarming party!
The house looking festive as it waits for our guests!

My daughter
My daughter Jessie.

Me and my sister
My sister came to visit for a few days!  What a joy to have her here and to be able to share my new home with her!

To finally, after many unsettled months, be "at home" once again  ~ it makes my heart sing!  And to be able to share my new home with family, friends and new neighbors is such a joy!  What a lovely and beautiful day it has been!

Luke 8:39
"Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you." and he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.

What fun to see many of your apartment pieces fitting in so well in the new house/home:) Will you be sharing the pigs-in-the-blanket receipe?
