More home renovations to share!
It's quite a departure from my usual decorating! This little bathroom in the basement had much of the walls and ceiling removed during the rewiring/plumbing. As a result it had a nearly complete makeover. My sister and I got it finished today!
It was a challenge coming up with a scheme to work with, but I'm quite happy with the cream walls and gold and black decor!
And how did I choose those colors? The shower had this yellow tile with black trim around the door. Much of the wall had to be torn out during the re-plumbing. We couldn't find tile to match, but choose to fix it with black tile to match the trim. It came out pretty sharp looking and inspired the rest of the room!
